D&AD New Blood Awards 2015 - Airbnb

Explore how Airbnb can creatively empower their existing community to grow the idea of ‘belonging’ out to a new audience; translate this into a campaign.

This campaign focuses on an event where locals and visitors can interact with each other. Everyone is treated like an equal, regardless of age, gender or race. Everyone is made to feel like they belong everywhere.
You are encouraged to come along to the event in the country you live in or are visiting and leave your handprint using the paint provided, as this is a mark that is unique to you. You have left your mark on that country and you will always belong there. You have also participated in a worldwide event and therefore ‘Belong Everywhere’. Along with leaving your mark, there will be food, music and dancing which will allow everyone to embrace the local cultures and ways of the country they are in, which in turn makes them feel like less of an outsider.
